Here are the kids writing and mailing their letters to Santa. There is a mailbox in the center of town that is just for letters to Santa. I thought this was so cute. Then that same night Santa was driving around town with the firemen handing out candy canes. Secaucus is a really cute town sometimes.
Jacob has finally started walking. He still crawls most of the time, but he will get up and walk around a lot more now. He is always so smiley when he does it....like he is so proud of himself.

I love this
I think I may be loosing my job as family book reader. Reading has been a little slow coming for Christopher but he is starting to enjoy it and I love to walk in the room and find him reading a book to his brothers and sister. I think he finally realizes that he is a reader.
Putting up the Christmas tree
We got our Christmas tree Saturday night. This is the latest we've ever put up the tree. We usually put it up the day after Thanksgiving. I love getting a real tree....the look, the smell...it's the best! It was so freezing that night that we had to get some yummy hot chocolate to warm us up. Jacob really loved it !

Christmas pillowcases
I can't believe it's taken me 7 years to make these. Jeff's mom had Christmas pillowcases for all her kids and I thought that was such a fun tradition and always planned on making them. I finally got around to it this year. (Jacob has one too, but he isn't really using a pillow yet) ;) I'm kind of on a pillowcase kick right now. I found the easiest way to make them and they are so quick. If anyone wants the instructions I can email them to you. (I found them on some blog and I can't remember where now).
