Out of the Mouth of Babes

Daniel says his name - Daniel Sullowin

Daniel- Instead of Dear Heavenly Father he says, "Daniel Father"

------------- 2016 (going up)----------

Jacob in primary- it was sharing time and they were talking about how Noah built the ark and what he would need. We heard wood and hammers. Someone said nails and the leader said , "yes but did they have nails then?"  Jacob raised his hand and said "yes cause they put nails in Jesus' hands". I thought this was so smart and sweet.

Jacob - " mom when I am a dad you will be a gramma. When I am a grampa you will be dead in heaven!"

Michael age 8- "it's hard to have inner peace with a screaming baby in the house."

Jacob - "mom. Our car needs to look more awesomer"

Jacob - he was showing me how much he can exercise. "Mom I think I'm going to frow up"

Daniel just turned 2 and still not talking much. He says mommy, daddy, hot, yay, and a handful of other words. He knows animal sounds and his body parts.

Daniel can say "hi", "uh oh", "dada", and when you give him food he sticks his tongue out and while saying "yummmm"

Jacob-  "Anne, I love you. Did you know dat?

Jacob - "mom when I finish this candy can I have a brownie ?"
Mom- "No buddy". Jacob-"Okay. But I  still love you"

Jacob- " mom, Anne and Christopher don't want to play with me.  Dats messed up. ". I laughed and asked him where he had heard that. He just said, " I thought it in my head. "

Jacob- really loved Christmas 2013.  For at least a month afterward he would say several times a day, "Mom, I just can't waaaiiit for Christmas."   He also likes to play Santa. He puts on the Santa hat and wraps up a bunch of toys in a blanket.  Then I have to lay down and go to sleep.  He sneaks in and leaves a toy on the floor and sneaks back out.  As he's leaving he says "ho ho ho" in the cutest voice.

Daniel at 16 months-  says hi, uh oh, yes and loves to play peek a boo.  He just laughs and laughs.
--------  2014 (going up)----------

Jacob- " if there's a will, there's a way!"

Michael- It's hard to keep track of all the cute things the older kids say.  Michael is very smart and can go on for a long time about certain subjects.  Birds seem to be his favorite right now...."Mom, you can't really compare the osprey and the goshawk because"...and then he went on to tell me something about their talons.  He's a smarty, that one.

Jacob while I was helping him wipe after going potty. "Mom, you da bravest one!"

Anne- We were talking about when Dad and Mom met.  I told them about how we were hiking in the canyon.  Anne said, "You mean you didn't dance !!?"

Jacob was in the tub and he tooted really long and it made lots of bubbles.  He looked at me funny and said, "Mom, my butt burped!"

Jacob- every day is Saturday.  If you ask him when something happened...it was always Saturday.

When you say hi to Daniel he says, "Iii" back and it sounds just like he's saying Hi. (1 year old)

Christopher- "Mom, cinnamon apple sauce is my favorite snack....except for pizza."

Jacob got stung by a bee 4 times one day.  Jeff asked him how he was doing.  He said, "It was a yellow jacket dad.  But I not see it's jacket?  I think it not wear it's jacket.  Me just see it's butt...it stung me."

Anne- "Mom, I sure need to take a bath cause my feet stink a lot lately."

Michael- When we moved into out new house and the door bell rang for the first time he yelled, "Our first customer!!"

Anne- "Michael, after you drink your soda would you kindly come see the man I made out of blocks."

Jacob- "Mom, where you buy dis shmarshmallow?"
             "At the store"
"Mom, you so smart.  How you know to do dat. Oh, and you beeoootiful too."

Mom- "Jacob, this room is a disaster."  Jacob- "Sis not disaster, sis tornado."

Jacob is in his bed talking to Anne (who is asleep) saying, "made you look under there.  me make you say underwear." and laughing to himself.  Such a funny kid.

Christopher was playing hangman with dad in the car.  They don't write anything, just do it in their heads.  Dad gave him a church word.  Christopher said, "R" and dad said
it started with R.  Christopher said Revelation as his first guess.  He said that he was thinking of something else, but then the thought came into his mind that it was revelation.  (just like a little revelation for him)

Anne- "I would be delighted to marry Flynn Ryder."

Michael started making peace signs inside all his letter O's (he must have learned that at school or something).  I said, "Michael, let's not make peace signs anymore.  We're not hippies."  Michael said, "Mom, what are hippies?  People who live by the sea?"

Jacob was combing his hair like his dad does it for him. "Look mom, me made bump." (the little wave in his hair.  Then he combed again).  "Now me make mohawk in mine hair.  Me go jail?"

Jacob- "ya, dat's right. me tell ya."

Jacob- "Me not want big blue to die." (our van is on it's last leg)

Jacob- "Anne, you boo-tee-ful."

Anne while reading to Daniel - "the grizzly bear said to his friend. you have to eat what your mama makes for dinner or there is a consequence.  Yes, there is a consequence and you don't want that do you.  You will be hungry."

Jacob- "Me not want go on the potty train anymore." (potty training happened Jan 2013)

     2013

Jacob was told to clean up the legos; "(whining) Me caaaan't mom.  Me liiiittle boy.  Me not biiiiig boy.  Me Jaaaacob."  (having a new baby has made Jacob wish he was still a baby).

Michael was reading a book about George Washington - "Christopher, did you know that when George was 11 his father died and he had to live with his brother Lawrence?  Hey mom, that's just like Lawrence Nightingale."  (He meant Florence Nightingale)

Anne was jumping on the couch and inlisting Jacob to join her.  Me- "Anne, are you supposed to be doing that?"  Anne- "We're playing mom.  Kids are supposed to play."

Jacob is going to be our singer.  He will sing his, "America, America" song in the grocery store.  It gets lots of cute looks.  He also likes to sing it when he gives his testimony during FHE.

Jacob loves to give hugs.  He ran up to me the other day, gave me a hug and said, "Hi sweetheart."

Jacob while looking at our wedding album- "Dis picture mom?"
"That's when mom and dad got married."
"Mom marred....mom princess."

Jacob sings the alphabet song like this; "A, B, C, D....H, I....love you!!"

Famous Jacob sayings, "Oh, ya." , "Rrright, mom?" , "Annie, dood it"

Jacob is really into puzzles.  He is not quite 3 years old and he can do a 25 piece puzzle.  He can do them but he still asks, "where dis go?" with every piece.

Jacob says things backwards, like Yoda- " cold me", "outside Anne", "on me pants", "hands wash me?". He also says "nat" for that.

Anne and Diana are best friends.  They put their hands on each others (with Ashley and Jacob too) and yell, "Best Friends Forever !!!"

Jacob while driving in the car.  Something outside had a weird smell.  "Mom, smell ucky egg!"

Jacob- likes to tell people "ruv you" (love you).  "Ruv you Anne, Ruv you mom."

Anne is unloading the dishwasher while singing, "hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dog."

Michael- "Mom, I was playing with that kid Spencer and he is 6 years old and I'm almost 7, as you know."

Michael- "Thanks mom, that's very generous of you."

Anne-  she loves to "read" books (she makes up the most interesting stories).  Right now she is reading a story about "Bono and Rainey".  I have no idea where she comes up with these names.

Anne- She wanted me to play the "Miss noddy nod" song.  I finally figured out she was asking for "feliz navidad".

Jacob sings- "merica, merica, she shy she" = "America, America, from sea to shining sea."

Christopher started asking at age 8 if Santa was real or if it was just mom and dad. (so sad...I haven't admitted anything yet) :)

Jacob- "mo-nan"= snowman, "meer"= come here, "oh ya", "better?"  "fine"= I'm fine or are you fine?, "clue"= glue, "soddy"= sorry,  "shacob"= Jacob, "tuck"= cut

Jacob said his first prayer at age 2.5 (June 2012). "Fodder... daddy home, daddy home, mommy home, daddy home....men (amen)."  It was soooo cute!

When we found out that baby #5 was a boy, Annie made a frowny face but didn't seem too upset.  But later I overheard this conversation with Jacob. "Yes, we're having a boy.  So who is going to play with me.  I'll have no one to play with when I grow up.  The boy will want to play with you."  (poor little thing.  but she plays pretty good with the boys and they like to play with her too).

Anne- (we were playing at the splash park).  "Mom, I want to go over to the other fountains.  They're more romantic."   (What?!) "Mom, what does romantic mean?"  (haha)

Jacob has started adding "ee" to the ends of some of his words.  Home becomes "homee", broken becomes "brokee", foot becomes "footee".  It's kind of funny.

Jacob's words (a few of them)- "go-kay"= okay, welcome= thank you, "gawk"= bird, if he wants attention he calls out "peepo"= people!, "mip"=mitt, everything he says sounds like a question, "myko"=michael, "on"=anne, "meer"= come here, "bloke"= broke or broken, a famous Jacob word is what sounds like "daughter"= water or drink, "huck"- candy (no idea where this came from)

Annie- "Mom, does sugar really make the medicine go down your throat?"  (She's been watching Mary Poppins lately)

Jeff, "Annie, are you excited to have a baby brother or sister?"  Anne said, "No dad, Mom's having a baby, not me."

Anne- "Mom is there food in heaven?"  Me- "I'm not sure but I don't think so."  Annie- "Ya, I don't think so either cause you wouldn't want heaven to get dirty with crumbs."

I got a call from the school saying Michael and another boy had collided in PE and he had a lump on his head.  I went and picked him up and on the drive home this is what he said, "Mom, it would be good if I was a chameleon."  I said, "Why is that?"  He said, "Because then I could have put one of my eyes on the ball and put the other eye on where I was going and I wouldn't have run into Joey."  What a smart kid to know that chameleon's eyes can move independently

Christopher was reading a scripture for family night that said, "Yea, and I beheld that the fruit..." but Christopher read it like this, "Yup, and I beheld".  It was so cute!

Annie considers anything near us "the world".  She'll say, "mom, there aren't alligators in this world, are there?"  What she means is, there aren't any alligators in our neighborhood. :)

Jacob's new words- "gee go" = thank you, "ock"= cut, "he-ho"= hello, "haf"= half and "ho"= whole (to tell you how much he wants of something), more animals noises (he pants for a doggie and says says "hrrr" for a horse), "coco"= hot chocolate, "neh"= another version of no, "yaw"=  yes.

Annie, "Mom did you have a lego table when you were little?"  Michael, "No Annie, mom and dad lived in the olden days."

(above quotes from 2012)________________________________________________________________
________________________________________________________________
Jacob has a few new words-  dodder = water, beebee = baby,  mine, oggie = doggie.  He also uses the word " me" in a lot of different contexts.  But mostly he just screams or says, "hm"

Christopher has it all planned out how he will go on his mission first and then when Michael gets to go that they will be able to be companions together.  This is just great for Michael cause he's nervous about leaving home....but if he gets to be with Christopher he would be just fine. :)

Annie is in that stage where she doesn't understand units of time.  She'll say, "we did that nexter week."

One day I was at an outdoor mall with Annie and we stopped at a fountain.  She saw all the pennies in it and asked why they were there.  I told her people throw pennies in the fountain and make a wish for something they want.  She wanted to do it so I gave her a penny.  She threw it in and then said, "Well, where is it?"  I said, "Where is what?"  She said, "Where is the doll I wished for?  Does it come out of the water?"   Seriously, the funniest thing I'd ever heard.

I'm listening to Annie "read" a book - "Jesus told the people they must repent.  If they are repenting Jesus will give them a sticker.  Then he will tell them good job and everyone will go to heaven.  Repenting is important in your life.  We are going to earth he said.  "What!" I said.  So, if you are nice you go to the nice earth and the animals are nice all the time.  (I can't keep up with all the cute things she is saying)  :)

Michael's new favorite word is, bundles.  He'll say, "look there are bundles of horses over there", or "don't worry, we have bundles of ice cream left."  Of course, now Annie is using the word a lot too.

Jacob - used to smell his feet and say, "ewww".  He doesn't do it much anymore...sad.

Michael - "Annie you can't have brownie cause you didn't eat all your dinner.  That's just what happens.  Bummer."

Michael, talking about the two dogs next door.- "Mom, that dog is more calm than the other dog.  Yes, they have different temperments."  (no joke, he used this word.  He was almost 6 at the time)

Christopher- "Mom, look at that big flute."  (I think it was a tuba)

Michael-  "Do we have any more of that cheesefinger ice cream."  (he meant butterfinger)

Anne-  "No Michael, you're the gentlemen and we're the beauties."

Anne- "Mom, Michael's hoarding the blocks!!!"

Michael- "  Mom can you tell me the story where you broke your water bottle and then said, ' oh no, it must be time for Michael to be born' "

Anne- "Dad, you're my hero."  We all oooh and awwwd and said how cute she was.  Then she said, "Actually, Dad, you're my rescue hero."  (You'd have to know what rescue hero's are to really get it) :)

Anne likes the movie Tangled and she'll run around saying, " BEST DAY EVER!!!"  or singing, "At last I see the light".  She wishes her hair was as long as Rapunzel's

Jacob says- Ba Bee Ba Boo (Peek-a-boo)

Christopher gave his first talk in Sacrament meeting on Mother's Day (age 6)- "Mom, I'm just so nervous of them looking at me."  (He did an awesome job though...never would have known he was nervous)

Michael- (We were watching a music video of a BYU singing group singing and dancing in the library).  "Mom, you wouldn't actually do that in the library"

Anne- Sometimes the first thing Annie says to Jeff when he gets home is "Did you bring me gum?"  She forgets about "How was your day dad" and "I love you" and gets straight to the chase.

Christopher- "Mom, why do we have to go to school for so long.  I already learned everything."

Anne- "Jacob is our baby.  Even if we wanted another baby, we can't have one, cause we can't just give Jacob back, he's our baby.  Ya, we like him."

Michael- "Look mom I drew a shark.  And you can't tell, but he just ate a sea lion."  Me- "Oh, that's sad.  Could he be a nice shark?"  Michael- "He is a nice shark.  But, come on mom, he has to live doesn't he?"

Anne- She calls a thumb a "flum".  She also uses her and him when she should use she and he.  She says, "Her's so cute!"

Jacob will now say "hi" and "eees"(cheese).  He also does a cute little wave hello or bye. (16 months old)

Christopher said this while watching a movie- "That man can't be old.  He can't be a grandpa cause he doesn't have a big belly."  (I guess old people can't be skinny)

Christopher likes to pretend he is a scientist.  He carries a little notebook and pen around and writes things down.

Michael is really into the word realize- "Mom, did you realize that my face is an oval...not a circle.  Cause if your face was a circle there wouldn't be room and your eyes would be down here (pointing to his nose) and your cheeks would be all squished like this.  Did you realize that?"

Annie- "Mom, guess what?  I folded ALL the socks.  That made me sweaty.  Isn't that amazing!"

Annie- "Mom, can I have a grocery treat?"  (rice krispie treat) :)
"Mom, my heart is beeping really fast !!"

Michael- "Mom, can I have some more sal-giniver chips" (they all actually like salt and vinegar chips)

Annie- after doing something she knew she shouldn't she said, "Oh nooooo....now I have to have a time out?" (not mad, but said rather regretfully)

Michael- after watching Charlotte's Web he walked around singing, "Einstein, never you mind, what if he's not so big"  (I think the words are "fine swine, wish he was mine, what if he's not so big")

(above quotes from 2011)______________________________________________________

Michael- " Mom, how many grams of sugar are there in figgy pudding?"

Anne- "This is an amazing adventure we're having!"

Michael- " Mom did you realize I still haven't lost a tooth.  I think it's because I have the strongest teeth ever.  But I bet if I smiled super really hard then I might get a loose tooth."

People usually stare at me with all my kids.  Sometimes they ask if they are all mine and some time I know they are just thinking it.  The other day some people were staring at us as I walked past with the two youngest in the stroller and Christopher and Michael walking behind.  Michael said, "Why are they staring at us?  Do they think we are ducks or something?"

Jeff told Michael he thought he saw a star fall out of the sky.  Michael said, "Was it on the road?"

Christopher- "Mom, you know how Josh does why-kon-do ?"  (I think he meant tae kwon do)

Christopher while we were grocery shopping- "Michael, careful of the eggs.  If you bump them they will hatch!!"

Anne- "When I grow up like a mama I have to wear big shirts, not tiny shirts!"

Michael- "See mom, I told you I was a genius"

While we were hiking I said, "I love the smell up here. It smells like pine." Michael said, "Ya mom, pine and pineapple too!!"

Michael- "Thanks for popping some bacon mom. I'm still hungry. Will you pop some more bacon?" (I think he says that cause the bacon makes a popping sound when I cook it in the microwave)

Michael- It's hard to describe the cute things Michael says lately because they are usually very long thought out ideas explaining how things work. I'll ask him how he knew that and he'll say, "I thought about it in my imagination." Today he said, "I must be like a teacher or something !"

Annie likes to ask people for a "pinky promise". I don't know where she heard that but it is so cute.

Jeff was reading a story about someone that lived in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Christopher got a weird look on his face and asked, "Watermelon City, Watermelon???" I laughed so hard.

Christopher- "When is Toy Story 4 coming out." I think he'll be waiting a while for that one. :)

Anne said this while I was trying to brush her hair. "Mommy, stop! I already beautiful!

Michael- "Mom, it feels like there are bees in my foot!" (His foot was asleep)

Christopher- "Mom, I think I need my own room cause I really need some peace." (I think I must ask for a little peace and quiet too often)

Annie- If she is full and doesn't want to eat any more of her food she says, "I can't eat any more or it will give me a heag-ache"

Christopher had an assignment to write something about his Uncle for "U" week. He said, "Mom, do I have any uncles?" How sad that they don't even know their family...the down side of living so far away.

Jeff asked Michael where we got our food. Michael said it came from Jesus. Jeff said, "How did you know that?" Michael said in the sweetest voice ever, "Because I believe in Him."

Annie- "You're the cutest mommy ever."

Michael- "Mommy, if I get another cough, I'll be the talk-a-the-town" (said as if it were one word)

Michael and Annie- "Has anyone seen my pie charts!!!!" (Also from Curious George)

Christopher was saying the closing prayer at FHE this week and he said, "Please bless our dessert will be healthy for our bodies...(pause)...and sweet." :)

Christopher accidentally left his lunch box in the car and so they sent him to the office to call me. The secretary asked him what his mommy's phone number was and he said, "I don't know". I asked him why he told them he didn't know his phone number, because he does know it. He said, "Mom, I know MY phone number, but I don't know YOUR phone number." I had to explain that his phone number was the house number for the whole family. It's funny how we think kids understand something, but sometimes they don't :)

Michael- We were walking down the street and saw the plumber that came and fixed our water heater. I said hi to him and Michael said to me, "Mom, why do you know him? ...because he's a businessman?"

Michael- "Mom, look at all the ants! Some ants are hungry, and some ants are dead."

Christopher told me that he wished he could lose all his teeth at the same time. When I asked him why, he said, "So I can get tons of money from the tooth fairy!" When I said, how are you going to eat anything without teeth, he said, "I'll just eat baby food!"

Annie was pretending to shop at the grocery store...here are the items she was buying: strawberries, grapes, red milk, green milk, and orange juice.

Annie was showing me a hole in a pillow- "Look mommy, there's an opening! Let's fix it, get it some medicine and some tape and we can fix it together!

Annie- "Michael, I need your attention!!"

I was asking the kids who some of the people in the Book of Mormon were. They got some right but when they got one wrong and I told them who it was Christopher would say, "Oh, that was my next guess!"

Michael drew a picture with lots of flags on it. I asked him what countries the flags were from. He said, "New York, New Jersey, New City and Nohio"

Jacob has discovered all the things his mouth can do and he loves to blow raspberries. He just sits there and spits and makes funny noises and thinks he is so funny. :)

The kids have finally memorized our phone number. I know it seems kind of late but I guess I was lazy. It's hard to find a rhyme or song that fits a 10 digit number (since you have to know the area code out here). Finally we came up with 201, this is fun, 868, this is great, 2541, now we're done. It worked.

Christopher came home and said his teacher said he was a cheater. I thought...What?!! I asked him to explain the situation and he said that he was a cheater because he didn't get to be star student for two days because of the two snow days when they missed school. I said, "Oh, you mean you got CheatED." He said, "Yes, that's what I said." I just laughed.

I was complaining that my arms hurt from shoveling so much snow. Christopher was quite concerned and said, "Mom, do I need to call that number?" (He meant 911).

I asked Annie what she wanted for dinner and she said, "guidos". Michael said, "Yes, I want mosquitoes". They both meant taquitos. :)

Michael- "You're a lovely child Christopher."

     (above qutoes from 2010)

Christopher- I said, "Christopher, that's a great idea!" He said, "I know mom, it just came, whack, out of my head!"

Annie always says, "Mommy, please I hold you"...which actually means she wants ME to hold HER

Michael- He has started occasionally calling us "mother (sounds like mudder)" and "father". When he does this I call him "son" and he says, "I'm not a son....I'm a kid !"

Annie says, "Why mom, why?" and when she says it she sounds exactly like Cindy Loo Who when she says, "Santy Claus, why are you taking our Christmas tree, why?"

Christopher now knows the pledge of allegiance from doing it in school. Of course there are the words that are blurred together like, "justice for all" which sounds more like "jusfall" He also says "Have a great day" at the end which must be what they say over the intercom when they are done. It made me laugh the first time he said that.

Annie will run into the room and stand with her legs and arms spread out wide and yell, "Super Annie !!!"

Annie- "Baby Dacob frying (crying). Feed him, feed him mommy!!!"

Annie has quite good pronunciation, but there are a few things she says differently. She calls crackers "yackers", Jacob "Dacob", treats are "feets", a drink is a "wink", and pretzels are "pencils". :)

Christopher- Early in the morning Michael turned on the light in the room and started getting dressed. We were in our room and heard Christopher say loudly, "I need more night time!!!!"

Michael- When we were moving a friend of ours was taking apart the baby crib. Michael was watching and said, "Oh, that's how you break it!"

Annie and mom- "Lay down and close your eyes Annie", "Why?" "Because it's night time", "Why mom", "Because it's dark outside", "Why", "Because the sun went down", "Why", "Because that's just what happens at night time", "Why", "Because that's the way God made the earth", "Why"......I give up!!

Christopher loves all his new friends at school. They have different names like Jophes (Joseph) and "the kid with the long hair". He also just calls his teacher Scherban, not Mrs. Scherban. :)

Michael- "Look mom, a destruction site"

Michale - "Anne, would you like one quarter of my lemonade?"

Michael- "Look I drew a baby rainbow. Don't worry, it's harmless"

Annie thinks lots of things are scary these days. We were in a store and there were some Halloween things. She said, "Scary. Go home now mommy! Never want to come back here again!!

Michael and Christopher both say this when we go outside, "Ah, smell that salty air" I think it's from Curious George

Annie pretty much talks in sentences now and we discovered she can name all the kids in her nursery class. She likes to sing "Sunbeam" and "I'm A Child of God"

Annie- Lots of time you ask her to do something she'll say, "I already did!"

Christopher, while making a peanut butter sandwich- "Come on peanut butter, you have to stick, you have to stick. If you don't stick I will mush you down harder!!" "Michael, I'm not done yet. You have to be patient."

At dinner Michael was crying because he didn't want to eat his chicken. I said, "Michael, you need to eat your dinner, crying doesn't work." Christopher pipes up and says, "Sometimes it works!"

Michael- "My finger has a blizzard" (he meant blister)

Christopher's new favorite words are, "perfect", "actually", and "amazing". He uses them a lot. :)

In the car the other day Annie was laughing about something. Christopher said, "What are you laughing about Bannie?" She just said, "ME!!!!" We laughed so hard about that. :)

Annie says all kinds of words now including- Michael, cookie, milk, okay, happy, book, all kinds of animal sounds, stuck, help me...so many more I can't list them all. :)

Christopher- "Mommy, you are my best friend in the whole wide world" Michael says, "Mommy , you my best friend in the whole wide forest"

Christopher said "Michael, I blew my nose all by myself !" Michael says "Good job Christopher, you are a brave boy ! "

Christopher- "Mommy, look at my mouth" (Proceeds to show me the chewed up apple in his mouth). "Does this look like applesauce?"

Michael- "Mom, remember that time my arms were stuck up in da air like this?" ....uh, no :)

 Michael- "Mom, I just distracted"

Christopher- "Mom, I have some bad news"

Michael- "There's no need to panic!"

Anne can say- "da" (dad), "beebee"(baby), "baa baa" (bye bye), "no","uh oh", "ah-oh" (hello).....but of course, no "mama" :(

Christopher-"Mommy, does Santa make Christmas presents or do you make them?" I don't know how long we'll be able to fool this kid. ;)

Michael has taken to calling me "sweetie" like Jeff does. It's so funny to hear him say it in his little Michael voice.

Michael- "Mommy, Baby Anne has your knitting noodles!" (needles)

Annie doesn't talk yet, but something funny about her is she loves her ears. She falls asleep holding her ears.

Michael- "Daddy, you can't take dat banana in the sour (shower)!"

Christopher- "I'm not cute, I'm hansom"

 Michael - "That's fantaskik!"

Christopher was up in the night saying his back hurt. The next morning I asked him, "Why was your back hurting." He sighs and says, "Mommy, it's a long story." LOL

The other day I couldn't print something off the computer for Christopher because it was frozen. He said to me, "Mom, compooters no get frozen...snow is frozen." That's true!

Michael is becoming very imaginative. He pulls around his blanket and says it's his big dog "Busy" and tells me to pet it. Or sometimes it's a fish named "I swim in the water". :)

Christopher- "Mommy I draw a picture of you when you a baby....last week."(This is his reference for all amounts of time. He used to use "3 days")

Michael "I don't like spiders. I like grapes."

Michael says to the doctor- "It's nice to see you again." The doctor (and I) were shocked at how polite he was.

Christopher likes his toast with "funny butter" which is what he calls cream cheese. :)

Try to decipher these things either Christopher or Michael say: "barking sauce"- bbq sauce, "mishamays"- missionaries. "ya-ga-bum"- you're welcome, "woowie"- movie.

Christopher, referring to the aforementioned pink lemonade - "This drink taste really strange and funny."

Michael after throwing up from drinking too much pink lemonade - "I sorry I choke my head up"

Michael to a man at church - "Hey, him Joseph Smith" (Michael thought a man named Allen in our ward was Joseph Smith)
