Funnies

Sorry two of these pictures are side ways. I couldn't flip them on blogger and didn't feel like trying elsewhere. These are just some funny pictures of the kids.

Christopher put this empty soda box on his head. It got a good laugh. He looked like a trojan.

One night we got home late and Michael was pretty tired walking into the house. He was sitting on the stairs taking his shoes off and we found him sound asleep on the stairs.

Annie was so excited to get in the bath she jumped in with all her clothes on. She looks pretty happy.

Hot Day

On one of those 90 degree days a few weeks ago we had a water day in the backyard. I love that little kids love to be squirted with a hose. You could never get away with squirting an adult like that and having them laugh and scream. Annie didn't like it as much so we brought out the popsicles and she was happy.
I love Michael's face in this picture. It's the perfect happy scream picture.

This one was another day, but isn't she just so cute!

Camping Trip

Last weekend we had reservations to go camping in southern NJ. Some friends of ours told us about Allaire State Park and these cute little cabins you can stay in. We were really looking forward to getting away for a few days and had a great time. We decided we need to build a rustic little cabin like this in the woods someday to have as a retreat. (I guess we should buy a real house to live in first though, huh). Unfortunately, the boys ended up being sick one of the days and so they were kind of lethargic and other not fun stuff. But we stuck it out and the next day they felt fine. It turned out to be a rainy weekend so we were really glad we had the cabin. The weather was warm though and the rain was usually just a very light drizzle so we were still outdoors a lot.

I forgot the propane stove and since it was wet outside we ended up cooking on the wood burning stove in the cabin. It actually worked really well and we felt like pioneers. :)
The kids during a nap. The boys took several naps since they weren't feeling well and Annie joined in on one of them.
One morning Annie was so excited to go outside she just opened the door and ran out to play. She got all muddy but she had fun. :)

Pretty cute kids, huh?

On the way home, we stopped at Allaire Village which is an old original community from the 1800's. They have people dressed in period clothing and have demonstrations. We watched the blacksmith for a while and bought some yummy treats from the bakery.

Just one word....

WAR HEADS !!

I know, we are mean parents. But we warned them that they are really sour and they still said they really wanted one. ;) Yes, even Annie. She hates to be left out of anything. :)

Way behind on pictures

I'm so behind on posting pictures for my family that I need to catch up a little. Sorry to those of you who see my kids more. :)
I think Annie was giving a hug here, but she might have been tackling Christopher.
The boys love to do puzzles.

Head stand contest.
Michael is quite the acrobat.
Our little Easter chickens.
