Sorry Annie

Don't ever wash a Build-A-Bear animal even though, 1) it says you can right on the label and 2) it recommends you DO wash it every 4 weeks.  Maybe they just didn't sew this one up very well, I don't know.  This stuff was all over everything in the washing machine and I had to shake it all out...hopefully my washing machine will recover.

Warning: the following picture is disturbing and may not be suitable for those with sensitive stomachs.  (just kidding)

Uh, Oh. Poor Annie. If the tag said you could wash it you should take it back and show them what happened. Maybe she'll be able to get a new bear. Doesn't look like a very fun job trying to get it all out of your washer.

Hope Annie wasn't too attached! And congrats to your fam for passing the last of the CPA exams!! Hooray for husbands being home more often... I'm all for that!

My thought on reading this was the same as Naomi's - if it was from Build-A-Bear it seems like they should have some kind of guarantee and let you get a new bear. It might be worth a try!

probably similiar to the outcome of me washing a diaper in my washing machine recently. lots of those smooshy white things in everything. and it made little specks all over the clothes (especially noticable on darker clothes). Anyway, what a pain. I agree with Naomi- i would go back to a store and show them! MAybe you can get a new bear?!
