Okay, so I have a problem. I start too many projects at one time and so it takes me forever to finish something. I've been poking along on this kitchen for months now. I actually cut the hole for the sink, faucet and oven door a while ago and also reinforced the shelves. Then I finally put on the back panel and started painting. I just need to get moving and finish it up. I don't think anyone would ever want to hire me to build anything, unless they wanted to wait a year for it. ;) I've also discovered I'm not a very good painter. I don't think I have the patience for the time it takes to make it look just perfect, so if you come over don't look too closely at my paint job. ;)
The first shelf is going to be the oven so I'm going to paint it a dark gray color like the inside of an oven. The oven door isn't on yet...it will look much better once it is. :)

Sometimes that is what happens with perfectionists. It takes a while to complete a project, because if you can't do it right...you won't do it at all. When I did my remodel last summer/fall, it was a definite love-hate relationship. It is hard work...managing a crew, let alone the stuff you are doing. Keep going!
Looks great to me! Keep up the good work.
