August 4, 2012 - A Big Day

Christopher got baptized !!!  What a special day !  Eight years went by a lot faster than I ever thought it would.  He was just learning to walk and then all of the sudden here he is turning 8 years old and getting baptized.  We were able to have his baptism in Utah so that most of the family could be there.  It was so great for him to have all of that support.  The bishopric member conducting the confirmation portion was pleasantly surprised at how many people were there....over 50 people, and not even everyone was able to come.  Luckily we were in a room with some overflow because we had to set up a lot more chairs.  Christopher was excited, nervous, happy all a the same time.  It was so cute, after he came out of the water he just threw his arms around Jeff and gave him a big hug.  It was also so special to see him receive the Holy Ghost.  Jeff gave him such a nice blessing.  He sat by me after and was crying, partially because he was happy and also because he had conked his head in the bathroom changing his clothes and had a nice bump on his head.  Poor kid.  I am so grateful for children who have testimonies and try to do what is right.  Believe me, they all have their days where they just won't be obedient or they fight with each other, but I feel like for the most part they want to do what is right.  Before we know it Jeff and I will have a bunch of kids on missions.  Time...please slow down!!!

Baptism Day

In my opinion these are the cutest kids in the world!!

I look really gross in this picture...oh well. :)  Christopher has the sweetest smile on his face though.

Quite the crowd.  We had to bring in extra chairs.

Proud grandma and grandpa

Cousins playing the yucky jelly belly game.  You spin and either get a good flavor or a bad one.
You don't know until you eat it.  It was pretty funny.
