We love our neighborhood

I never thought I'd live in a place where I could just let the kids go out and play by themselves.  But our cul-de-sac is so quiet and secluded that they do just that...freedom!!  The big kids even go on bike rides around the neighborhood which they enjoy.

Oh, and Daniel figured out how to climb up the stairs....I'm not ready for that. :)

New Digs

I finally found the camera cord so now I can post pictures.  We love our new house!  I feel like it's going to take me forever to unpack.

Moving out of Church St.  It was SO incredibly hot that we had to eat some ice cream.

Found the old saxophone.  It still works.

Moving the lawn with our neighbor Marius.  Do you like our old fashioned mower.
The kids can use it...that's what matters.

At our new house.  Aunt Tatia sent us a fruit flower arrangement.  That thing was gone in no
time flat.  Thanks Aunt Tatia!!

Moving is tiring.  Can you see Christopher asleep on the couch?

Our new house.  We love it!!!

New Jersey is go green.

What lives here.  We've been watching and discovered it's a groundhog
family. Michael was hoping it was a snake.  If it was a snake that
big I would have been scared.

Little kids are loving mom and dad's bathroom

Exhausted.

New home owner/repair woman.  Cleaning out the dishwasher that didn't work too well.
You would be disgusted at the gunk built up in your dishwasher.

Unpacking in the family room....or is that just playing in the family room.

Daniel is loving being free to roam on carpet.

This cracked me up.  The great composers.  I see Bach, Brahms, Chopin, Beethoven...and who
is that on the end....is it Mozart?? Haydn??? oh, no...it's Gogo.

We love our new house!!!!!

Christopher turns 9

Wow, a 9 year old.  Where does the time go.  We had a fun day.  It was so funny because Christopher was so excited he couldn't sleep...it was worse than Christmas.  He came in and woke me up at 5am asking if we could get the day started.  So funny.  Of course I sent him back to bed cause I was not getting up at 5am on a Saturday.  I think he just read until everyone else got up.  We did presents etc. and that evening we went to the drive in movie and saw "Monsters University" and "Epic".  That was lots of fun!!

He didn't get breakfast in bed...since he was out of bed at 5 am.  But he did get his pancake
shaped like a 9.

"Can I open presents yet?"

He really wanted an Under Armor shirt.

Mets presents from Aunt Tatia

At the drive in.  Michael fell asleep on the way...he's a little out of it in this picture.

Waiting.....I love these 2 pictures.

Almost time to start

End of the school year 2013

A lot happened at the end of the school year.  In the midst of it all we had Christopher's birthday and our 10th anniversary (which in the midst of everything we didn't even get any pictures of it.)  Here's a few things that happened the last weeks of school.

Super Jacob!!!

Michael's Spring music performance.  It was SOOOO cute.  They sang lots of old fashioned
American songs.  I'm glad I recorded it.  Their music teacher is great.  I wish I could
have gotten better pictures of it.

Waiting for the performance to begin.

Our rental got pretty hot the end of June.  We had a hard time waiting to move into our new
house.  Anne was so sweaty and hot that she fell asleep sitting up.

Each class had a day at Finch park.  They walked over and played games and ate and had ice cream.  It was fun to be with them and their friends.

Love this...hanging on by his fingers.

At their 3rd grade party they gave them these frisbees that they all signed.
They say "Catch You Later, We're Off To Dater."
That's the school they go to next year (4th and 5th)
Last day of school.  It was really cute.  They have the principal walk through the halls of the school ringing a bell with all the graduating 3rd graders following behind.  The rest of the school and families line the halls clapping for the kids.

Christopher and his teacher, Miss Kline. He will miss her.  She was fun.

Michael and his teacher Miss D (DeVencentis).  He loved her
