Cheap Fun

I was at AC Moore the other day and found all these little foam craft projects for $1. I got the boys the race cars for an after school activity. They have turned out to be the best $2 I've spent in a while. I worked the glue gun and they stuck on the pieces and decorated them with their own drawings. They've been playing with them all week which has been fun. Christopher even took his for his first Show and Tell and his teacher loved that he brought something he had made. I'm just glad we had a fun time making them. I may have to go back and get some more.

This was the reason I went to AC Moore. All their Melissa and Doug toys were 50% off. I got Annie the wooden "paper dolls" with magnetic princess clothes. She needed more girl toys. She loved the pink princess dress and then spent the rest of the time categorizing all the clothing back into the proper compartments in the box. She's my little girl. :)

Here is our little princess in one of the many pretty birthday dresses she received.
PS. Oh, and by the way....I fibbed. I have gone back to Walmart...against my better judgement. BUT, I have only gone on a weekday and right after I drop Christopher off at school at like 8:30 am. That is the only way I can go there and stay sane. :) LOL!!

I love their cars - just gearing up for future pinewood derbies :) I love it when $1 can still go a long way. Cami got some chapstick in the $1 section of target the other day and she always has it with her. I hope they stay easy to please for a lot longer.

I love Annie's new dresses . . and her hair bow.

Those cars look like sooooo much fun! Oh, and it took me 3 years to figure it out to go to the Secaucus Walmart after I dropped the kids off at school. Any later and your wishing you would have just stayed home! LOL.
