Christopher's first field trip was to Battleview Orchard in Monmouth County. They got to see how apple cider was made, pick apples and a pumpkin. He had such a good time and best of all he got to ride the school bus. Jeff went as one of the chaperone's and I think he had as much fun as Christopher did. He said on the way down, he was giving the "honk your horn" signal to passing truckers and all the kids caught on. They got quite a few to do it and Jeff thinks they might have annoyed the bus driver a little bit. Jeff must be a kindergartner at heart. Jeff said it was really fun to watch Christopher with all of his class mates. He said he was very sociable and seemed to be friends with everyone. He really likes his teacher as well. I feel like we were blessed to get such a good teacher for Christopher, especially since I didn't know anything about the teachers when I registered him.
Christopher was so excited to ride the bus

What fun adventures Christopher is having. I bet he was so excited to have his daddy along for the day. Your pictures really made me miss Fall on the east coast. :(
How fun! Field trips are always so fun, especially when your parents chaperone - how cool to have your DAD chaperone, I'm sure that doesn't happen very often!
